Formerly known as Wild Lemon, we've rebranded to reflect something more personal. Brook is named after the owner's son and represents the heart of what we do - creating a space that feels like home, where community, flavour, and connection meet. Our new look and updated menu carry the same quality and warmth our guests have always loved, just refined with a new rhythm. Here, you'll find seasonal sharing plates, curated wines, and Shoreham's friendliest atmosphere. Whether you're here for brunch, wine, or a long dinner.

Brook is a modern Shoreham restaurant and wine bar, led by a small team who care deeply about hospitality and great ingredients. We're an independent, community-focused space, inspired by the South Coast and the joy of gathering. We work with local suppliers, make almost everything in-house, and design our menu to be flexible - whether you want to graze or stay for a full meal. Brook is a continuation of the story we began as Wild Lemon, but now sharper, warmer, and more personally rooted. We invite our neighbours, friends, and visitors to enjoy food and wine the way we love it: simple, seasonal, and served with heart.

Pascal Benamari
Chef
Born and trained in Nantes, France, Pascal honed his culinary expertise across the country before expanding his horizons in Canada. He refined his craft at the prestigious 5-Diamond "Auberge Hatley" before moving to the UK, where he embraced new opportunities in Brighton’s top kitchens.
Driven by passion, Pascal launched Pascal Brasserie in Hove, followed by the acclaimed Le Nantais Bistro, and now brings his culinary vision to life with Brook.

Pascal and his team made us very welcome, the food was so good we return on Saturday evening for dinner, it's a shame we couldn't stay longer and have Sunday roast.
